On Saturday 9th February, Reading’s Serbian School performed a show entitled Vuk Karadzic and folk literature at St Cyprian’s Church in London. Some forty parents and children attended from the school were present in this event organised by the Serbian Council of Great Britain as part of the Month of Serbian Culture.
The show started with solo piano performances. Then novelist Jelena Curcic told a story from her exciting new book Serbian fairy tales entitled Carevic and the Dragon.

Program je zapoceo solistickim nastupima nase dece na klaviru.Zatim je odrzana priredba ucenika Srpske skole iz Readinga (uciteljica Snezana Curic) pod vec pomenutim nazivom .Zatim je nasa knjizevnica Jelena Curcic ispricala prisutnoj deci nasu bajku-Carevic i azdaja,predstavljajuci svoju knjigu Serbian Fairy tales -Bajke koje je jos Vuk Karadzic sakupio,sada,prvi put prevedene na engleski jezik.
Manifestacija je organizovana od strane Serbian Council of Great Britain.
